spooktacular halloween weekend releases!
SOUR BROMANCE is a collaboration at its finest. Final Gravity Taproom joined us over one year ago to brew our Final Gravity Saison and provided us with wine barrels to age this delicious brew in for a whole year. Additions of lactobacillus, brettanomyces, and heaps of Chardonnay grapes, result in a tart and complex wild ale with notes of Chardonnay, oak, fruit, and spice.
CHERRY AMERICAN SOUR is heavily soured with lactobacillus and finished with Saison yeast. This beer is juicy, easy-drinking, and very tart. The addition of heaps of cherry give this beer a vibrant ruby color and delicious fruit flavor.
Halloween weekend is almost here and we have TWO spooktacular events!!!
On Friday, October 28 we will be releasing Sour Bromance in bottle and on tap. If you purchase your 6-bottle limit, you will receive a complimentary special release logo insulated lunch bag, a special release logo bottle opener key chain with LED light, and a logo bottle tote. The perfect package for taking your Mraz growlers and bottles on-the-go. This special will be available all weekend!
On Saturday, October 29 we will have our 3rd ever CROWLER RELEASE!! There will be 100 crowlers available of our new Cherry American Sour. First come, first serve and limit 2 per person. This beer will be available on tap all weekend as well!

It's that time of year again! Our 2017 Barrel Room Membership is officially open!! Sign-up online or in person. This club is limited to 200 members, so sign up before we sell out!
Change is in the air…
We have a big announcement to make! Although we know many of you have been anticipating our expansion to a large location in Folsom, we have decided to change direction. We love Folsom and its residents, but determined that a location of that size is just not where our hearts are at. Mike Mraz, Brewmaster and Owner, loves the art of brewing and enjoys his days most when he is molding and growing our barrel-aging program at our production and storage facility off of Latrobe Rd in El Dorado Hills. As the planning of Folsom was underway, he was slowly taken away from what he really loves and what Mraz has become so well-known for. Although an amazing opportunity for the right brewery, the large location in Folsom unfortunately does not fit our evolving vision for the future of Mraz Brewing Company.
So what’s next? Lots! We are growing our barrel-aging program day by day and plan to continue releasing bottles of these great beers at least once per month. We started introducing limited crowler releases to the tap room recently and plan to continue with these releases at least once per month as well. In the next 6 months, we hope to start conducting regular bottle/can releases of our American Sours and possibly some non-sour beers too. We have many new recipes we can’t wait to try over the coming months, so we look forward to a continually rotating and new tap and bottle/can selection. We are working on moving our brewing equipment to our production and storage facility and eventually turning it into a traditional industrial tap room as well. We hope to have this underway in early 2017. Until then, we always welcome you to our original location where it all started and where you can always count on seeing familiar faces.
