I’m so excited to share all the details about this year’s Friendsgiving celebration! This tradition started a few years back when Ali and I realized we both have November birthdays — which, let’s face it, tend to get overshadowed by the holidays. So, we decided to throw a party for everyone whose birthday lands near a major holiday. This one’s for you!

We’ll have the full lineup of Mraz favorites flowing — craft beers, kombucha, seltzers, and mocktails — so there’s something for everyone.

What to Expect:
It’s Friendsgiving, so bring your Thanksgiving leftovers or your favorite dish to share. No one leaves hungry! From 5–8 PM, enjoy live music starting with the incredible Ali Bohannon, a powerhouse of rock-goddess energy with a splash of blues and country. Plus, we’ve got a few surprise guests joining in that you won’t want to miss.

We’re all about helping out the local community—and this one hits close to home for the Mraz Brewing family!
Samantha, who designs the beer labels for Mraz, has two kids wrestling for Oak Ridge High School, and the team is working hard to raise funds for their uniforms and travel this season.

Wrestling has exploded in popularity in recent years, with both the boys’ and girls’ teams growing stronger than ever. So, we thought—why not combine great live music, delicious Mraz craft beers, and a chance for the wrestling families to connect with the community?

The fun starts at 3:30 PM and runs until close at 8 PM.

Live Music: The Island of Black & White (4–6 PM on the patio)

We’re thrilled to welcome back one of Sacramento’s favorite bands! The Island of Black & White brings a high-energy fusion of rock, blues, funk, and reggae, creating a soulful and crowd-engaging sound that’s always a hit.

Dinner-Style Fundraiser

This year, we’re trying something new—think bake sale, but for dinner. We’ll be serving up hearty chili and other homemade dishes, with 100% of proceeds going directly to the team.

Local businesses have donated some amazing prizes that will be available. Tickets for food and prize entries will be available on-site, and prize winners will be announced right after the band finishes.

We’ve got Kyle Kirch with Love & Honey conjuring up live music magic, delicious bites from Anchored Eats’ food boat, and a spine-tingling lineup of spooky fun all night long. Dare to carve your masterpiece at our pumpkin carving station, haunt the dance floor in our costume contest with wicked prizes, and sip on our limited-edition seasonal spooky brews brewed just for this haunted occasion.

Born and raised in Sacramento, California, Nikki Perez is a 25-year-old musician who has been immersed in the world of music since the age of 10. With a passion for creating and performing, she has become a vibrant part of the local music scene, sharing her talent and love for music with the community.

Fun fact: she started learning guitar at 10 to impress a boy. Now she’s all grown up, and he’s a skater boy to whom she said, "See you later, boy." Now he buys tickets to all of her shows! Crazy how the world works…
